How to Apply for Dee Why RSL Club’s Community Support Program

In 2019-2020 Dee Why RSL is providing over $2,000,000 in cash and in-kind support to local to more than 100 local community organisations through its longstanding Community Support Program.

Please note that the application period for the 2020-2021 Community Support Program opens on 10 February 2020, which will support projects between 1 September 2020 – 31 August 2021.

Category 1 ClubGRANTS support is for the provision of:

  • Community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance activities
  • Projects and/or services that contribute to the welfare and broader social fabric of the local community aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people
  • Preference will be given to projects and services that meet the Northern Beaches Local Priorities

Category 2 ClubGRANTS support will be given to projects and services that:

  • Are delivered by locally based organisations that benefit residents of the Northern Beaches
  • Are not readily assisted by existing Government funding programs

DEE WHY RSL OUT OF SCOPE ASSISTANCE
For those organisations or individuals who would like to apply for local assistance for a project that sits outside the annual community support application period, you will need to apply for out of scope assistance.

Out of Scope assistance is generally intended for smaller one-off requests for in-kind (non-cash) support for room hire or raffle prize assistance for not-for-profit organisations or individuals.

If you are seeking cash funding approval will be at the Board/Management’s discretion. For projects above $1,000, you will need to apply during the annual Community Support Program.

All applications are to be completed via our online application form. Each application will be assessed by the Executive Manager, Community and will be responded to in a timely manner.
