DYRSL Ladies Golf Club was formed as an alternative to the more serious ladies golf clubs on the Northern Beaches.
We play nine holes of friendly competition at the Long Reef course on Monday afternoons. Golf balls are awarded for weekly winners and trophies are awarded at the end of the year. The members enjoy regular social activities together as well as occasional golfing getaways. Our monthly meetings are held at Dee Why RSL.

The DYRSL Men’s Golf Club tees off every Sunday morning at first light all year round. We cater for all standards of golf and our handicaps are calculated by the rules set out by the Australian PGA.
We currently have around 24 to 40 members teeing off every week with handicaps ranging from 0 to 36. Members of DYRSL of all golfing abilities and ages are welcome to join us at our home course of Long Reef, as well as our annual weekend away.
We are grateful to receive a discount rate from DYRSL who kindly subsidise our fees. We encourage members to support DYRSL whenever possible, as the more we support the club the more they are able to support us.

The Dee Why RSL Swimming Club was established in 1947. Our swimming season begans second weekend in October until Easter, and we swim every Sunday morning – rain, hail or shine.
If you’re looking to get fit, why not join us for a swim at the Dee Why rockpool. Registration is at 9.30am with swimming from 10.00am. There are 50 and 30-metre races and a style race which is handicapped, so it doesn’t matter whether you’re fast or slow. We also have distance swimming 100 to 400m.
It’s good fun for all ages and all levels of swimming. We hold a monthly barbeque, and there are visits to other clubs for interclub competition and social interaction. We also host an annual swimming carnival – Black Swan – where other clubs come to us. It’s always a great day and a wonderful opportunity to meet people. Come and join us! Cost: $20 joining fee, $2 weekly swim fee.

The DYRSL Touch Football Club competes in the Manly Warringah Touch Association touch football competitions held at Nolan’s Reserve at North Manly. We field one team in each of the Monday night men’s competitions, mixed competition and the Sunday open competition.
There are two competition seasons running each year with the winter competition played between March and August and the summer competition played between September and February. All adult players are required to be a member of DYRSL and fees are subject to the team entry fee and number of players. We hold end-of-season functions at DYRSL at the end of the summer and winter competitions.

Since 2007, Dee Why RSL Camera Club has been a meeting place for camera enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels, to mingle and share their interest in photography with like-minded people in a relaxed and supportive social environment.
We are all about giving you the opportunity to have a bit of fun with photography at the same time as growing your knowledge and maybe learning some tricks of the trade from the old hands around you. Most importantly, you get to create and show your own work in regular showcases and even a few competitions. The Club program includes regular presentations from fun speakers, workshops in camera craft and post-processing, and field outings to practise your skills under expert guidance, usually with a little socialising mixed in.
We meet at DYRSL every second Wednesday at 7.30pm. For meeting schedule, program details and a gallery of members’ work, visit our website or contact the secretary on 0414 548 840.
The Day Club for Seniors meets at DYRSL every Monday between 10.00am and 2.00pm (except for Christmas and New Year weeks and public holidays).
Day Club is here for people who, due to age or frailty, have difficulty socialising in the general community. The day includes activities such as gentle exercises, live music and bingo. Morning tea and a cooked lunch are served for a small cost. Restricted transport is available.
