The DYRSL Foundation is run by the DYRSL to help those in need through grants, services and other means of support. We’re here to make a positive impact in our community through our Community Support Program.

We do this not because we have to, but because it is our responsibility. Like DYRSL itself, we are here in the spirit of service. This has been at the core of our club for generations.

Whether we’re helping individuals, local groups or our wider community, we know that there is a ripple effect to everything we do. Future-focused, human-centred and proudly community-driven, we want to make a difference today and a lasting impact for tomorrow.

Proudly Supporting our Community

Currently supporting over 75 local community groups.

The DYRSL Community Foundation Program provides cash and in-kind support to over 75 local community organisations, who in turn deliver much-needed assistance to our Northern Beaches region, assisting a broad cross-section of needs.

This year a commitment of over $230,000 has been dedicated to projects supporting survivors of domestic, family, and sexual violence; more than $240,000 has been allocated to disability and inclusion projects, and over $150,000 to youth and vulnerable children projects.

Our deep dedication to veterans continues through a four-year partnership totalling over $1 million to RSL LifeCare, for the Northern Beaches Veteran Wellbeing Centre on Level 4 of DYRSL, delivering essential services to veterans and their families.

In addition, DYRSL is supporting homelessness, mental health, lifesaving/emergency rescue, social welfare, CALD communities, seniors, community education, the arts, social and sporting organisations.
