Describe ‘a day in the life’ working at DYRSL in your current position
In my position, my day at DYRSL involves managing the Food & Beverage Department, assisting Members and Guests with their inquiries, organising events to create memorable experience for everyone and catching up with regular clientele.
What is a fond/funny/stand-out memory of your time here.
I’ve had quite a few funny memories, but I think I better kept them to myself.
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go and why?
Right now, I would like to travel to Tokyo to explore new places and cultures.
What is the weirdest fact you know?
Did you know that honey never spoils? Archaeologists have found edible honey in ancient Egyptian tombs over 3,000 years old!
How would your friends describe you?
My friends would probably describe me as reliable, easy-going, and always up for trying new things.
My favourite movie would have to be The Green Mile with Michael Clark and Tom Hanks. What a great movie!
Tell us something we don’t know about you…
I am a DJ and occasionally I will be behind the decks on Friday or Saturday night at Courtyard.
My favourite drink at the moment would have to be Sheep Dog Peanut Butter Whiskey. The whiskey is rich of peanut butter flavour, hints of butterscotch, caramel latte, and hazelnut. Perfect after dinner drink and you can order it at Battery House!
What is your go-to meal here?
When it comes to my favourite meal, I always opt for the Prosciutto Pizza from Courtyard.
What are some of your hobbies outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, catching up with friends, exploring new bars and restaurants and DJing.
What are some of your personal goals this year?
My personal goals this year will be get on the property ladder and planning a trip back to France to catch up with family.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grow up?
I wanted to be a patisserie chef.
What do you love doing the most in your work?
What I love the most about my work is seeing everyone having a great time.
Who is your hero?
My grandparents are my heroes, their strength, kindness, and wisdom have always inspired me.
