What is something exciting happening in your life right now?
My grand kids! I love spending my free time with them.
Describe ‘a day in the life’ working at DYRSL in your current position.
As an Accounts Payable Officer, my role is to complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. I really enjoy my position as I get to deal with my colleagues from all the different departments.
What is a fond/funny/stand-out memory of your time here?
It’s hard to say as there are quite a few from the past ten years… But as a big soccer fan, I always enjoyed the passionate conversations about football with my colleagues.
If you could have one super-power, what would it be?
I would love to be able to fly!
What is your favourite motivational quote?
Life is too short to be anything but happy.
How would your colleagues describe you?
A reliable part of the team and a very good friend. Always keen for a good laugh or some interesting discussions about many things. Honest, easy going, and great to work with.
Favourite book/movie?
I don’t have a particular one in mind but I looove romantic movies!!
Tell us something we don’t know about you.
Back when I was in high school in Peru, I represented my school at the National Gymnastics Championships.
What is your go-to meal here?
The Kung Pao Chicken from Tastes of Asia, trust me, it’s delicious!
